ThinAir Debuts Siri-Like Impact Assessment Tool

October 5, 2017

ThinAir 2.0 is a radically new solution that enables deep visibility into enterprise data and delivers unprecedented simplicity and speed. The latest release of ThinAir’s flagship product includes advanced and patent-pending technologies, including a conversational user interface and automatic impact cost assessment tool for business risks.

Lack of visibility into information proliferation across endpoints poses a significant risk to today’s enterprises. CISOs and IT administrators have been in the dark about where data is and how it’s being used, at the peril of their organizations ‒ the faster a data breach can be identified and contained, the lower the costs, according to Ponemon Institute’s 2017 study. With current security tools, it takes organizations an average of 191 days to identify a data breach ‒ ThinAir can shorten this time to 90 seconds.

ThinAir automatically analyzes every data interaction with real-time information attribution, for example, tracking and recording every single time a person touches information containing credit card numbers. With contextual depth and precision, ThinAir identifies suspicious actions in real-time, before threats turn into expensive, and public, breaches.

“ThinAir helps CISOs and security analysts become 10 times faster and more effective, by automating many of the tasks that consume much of their time and effort every day,” said Tony Gauda, founder and CEO of ThinAir. “As information becomes the primary asset for today’s organizations, ThinAir’s technology provides visibility and impact assessment. We turn analysts into superheroes by surfacing all user-information interactions, with simplicity and speed.”

New capabilities and features available in ThinAir 2.0 include:

•Conversational Interface: Using ThinAir’s advanced interface ‒ like “Siri for Security” ‒ an analyst can now ask sophisticated search queries in plain English. Asking a question such as, “Who accessed CCN# 12345000001111 in the past week and copied it to USB?” will result in the precise answer, within a few seconds.

•Impact Assessment: ThinAir 2.0 includes an “Impact Tab”, a powerful new capability for quick assessment of the full scope of an incident or a breach. Additionally, this feature has the ability to view the financial impact associated with the data, person or device in question. Using industry-standard or customer defined breach cost estimates, ThinAir delivers the exact risk-cost, across 17 industry verticals.

•60-Second Onboarding: With ThinAir 2.0, it is now dramatically easier to sign-up and start using ThinAir within a minute. No long-drawn proof of concepts or on-prem infrastructure are required.

ThinAir 2.0 is being made available in three editions ‒ Express, Professional and Enterprise.
