“Becoming an MCSD v2 tells the world that you have the skills it takes
to produce value from real time streaming data in your organization,”
said Gary Fluitt, director, certification at MapR. “This is an important
credential in showing your expertise in developing modern Spark
to Apache Spark – Developers will learn to build simple Spark
applications for Apache Spark version 2.1, using Spark’s interactive
shell to load and inspect data. Attendees will learn about the various
modes for launching a Spark application. Also covered are working with
DataFrames, datasets, and User-Defined Functions (UDFs).
Build and Monitor Apache Spark Applications – This course is designed to
teach the full Spark program lifecycle and SparkSession, along with how
to build and launch standalone Spark applications. Also covered are the
components of the Spark execution model using the Spark Web UI to
monitor Spark applications.
Advanced Apache Spark – Attendees will learn how to build data pipeline
applications using Spark Streaming, Spark SQL, Spark GraphFrame and
MLlib. Other topics include; Spark Streaming architecture, data pipeline
use cases, DStreams, and property graph operations. This is the third
